In an era of pseudoscience (UFOs – with alien biology and exometallurgy), holistic medicine, creationism, et cetera) and science generated for spin on issues or publicity or accolades or to get better funding, there is an interesting website that tries to counter and debunk some of theese efforts.

This falls within the theme of Carl Sagan’s The Demon Haunted World, a great favorite, and and Michael Shermer’s Why People Believe Weird Things. The concept that more people beleive in UFOs than that we landed men on the moon boggles me, but polls say that is the sad state of things in the US.
