The best meeting on polycyclics July 19, 2009

I just made my airline and hotel reservations for ISPAC 22 in Charleston, South Carolina the third week of September. I also registered for the meeting. The ISPAC meeting focus on research in polycyclic aromatic compounds, especially the PAHs. There are analytical chemists, synthetic organic chemists (one is this meeting’s award winner!), physical chemists, astrophysicists, toxicologists, environmental biologists and chemists, materials scientists, and those from other research areas. The presentations are good and the “in-hallway” conversations are top-notch and can be quite creative.

If you have any interest in PAHs and other PACs, you ought to attend. You’ll make great connections. The info is at the ISPAC website:
